CHANGE WE NEED

June 7, 2020

“Change is not something that we should fear. Rather, it is something that we should welcome. For without change, nothing in this world would ever grow or blossom, and no one in this world would ever move forward to become the person they’re meant to be.” – B.K.S. Iyengar

Years from now when you reflect back on the world changing storm that was 2020, did you:

— ACCEPT change

— CREATE change

— RESIST change

The key to the societal change so many of us hope to see is new information piercing the bubbles we live in. Racism is real, alive, and prevelant. For the first time in years, EVERYONE is talking about it.

Instagram post 17985554437545352 Explant Journey Update

The first photo I shared was taken in January of this year. This is when I hit my lowest point and I felt like I was slowly dying. My health really started to decline. I never planned on sharing that but I was like FUCK IT this is real life! I’m sharing this to bring awareness and so I’m not just going to skip the raw parts. My body and especially my face would become sun burnt within 15 minutes of being in the sun. My face would be raw and smell like flesh. I would get rashes on the top of my hands when driving on a sunny day. I would take 4 to 5 hour naps because I couldn’t hardly keep my eyes open. I became allergic to foods I had eaten all my life. The hardest part was trying to hide it and pretend that I was fine.

Now I’m a month and two weeks post explant surgery. All my test came back NEGATIVE and I do not have cancer. I have noticed so many changes since having my breast implants removed. I honestly feel like I have a fresh new start on life. I’m so happy I decided to move forward with my explant. Let’s just say that was the “End of an Error” since I had my implants for 11 years! Lol

I have no regrets implanting or explanting. I will say I was never informed about Breast Implant Illness (BII) prior to getting them. If you’re considering getting implants make sure you do your research and don’t be afraid to ask important questions. If you guys have any questions I’m an open book! ✌🏾

A big Thank You to my hubby, mom, and sister for helping take care of me!🤍

Instagram post 17920502354362705 Kash’s 5th Birthday - (Part 1)
We got to make all of Kash’s Birthday wishes come true this year! He’s super into Sonic right now as you can tell by his reaction to his shirt. He has been asking to go on a plane to Florida for so long. He also asked to go to the beach so he could make sand castles. He ‘s really into planes and trains. He was thrilled to ride the “train” to our gate at the airport. Kash is no stranger to making friends and talking to people. He made conversation with the pilot before boarding and he invited Kash into the cockpit. On the way there he fell asleep before the plane took off. On our way back home I was able to capture his reaction to the plane taking off. Our hearts are so full seeing his excitement and that sweet smile on his face. 🤍
Instagram post 18064528000312435 This is the look of a girl in her element! It’s nothing like sunshine, a good tan, a cold drink, and making amazing memories with my family.

Swipe to checkout little Ms. Tracey that was our server out by the pool. She walked by while I was trying to get pics and tried to kill my vibe. She said to me “as sexy as you are should not be wearing those goofy ass shoes”. These were her EXACT words.

Y’all the devil is busy out here!☺️

I’m in just such great spirits these days that the of level of NO f***s given was unmatched.

Side Note: I’m loving this bikini season with my itty bitty titties! I was a little nervous about getting in a bikini so soon after having surgery. I found some cute inexpensive bikinis from @sheinofficial that looked cute and covered my incision areas. It was a WIN!🙌🏾

Instagram post 17988121801494254 Almond French Tip

I had my nails cut down a little shorter and went with the classic french tip. It looks simple and clean. My nails are the one consistent thing I will always do for myself.

Instagram post 17936505035130893 If you watch my stories then you already know about these two. Today Kash and his best friend Marco had their first private swim lesson. Needless to say but they had SO much fun. I love watching their little friendship develop and listening to toddler conversations.

Their swim coach gave them the obvious nicknames today!
