BALANCE & HABITS

Well it’s that time of the year again! Everyone will be setting their new fitness goals, getting their gym memberships or scouting out a new trainer. I think it’s awesome to take control of your life and create goals to better yourself. We also tend to not meet these goals because we don’t create obtainable goals for ourselves. You have to learn how to create good habits as well as having balance in your life. Once I learned more about nutrition that’s when everything started to change for me. When I had my meal plan in front of me with my daily calories and learned what my portions sizes should be that was a game changer! Now I know that nutrition is the biggest key factor in becoming healthier and a huge part in seeing the results that I want with my body. I’ve created balance in my life so I don’t feel bad when I eat cookies, pizza or brownies. I also know that if I’m unable to workout one day out of the week that I need to at least be very intentional with my nutrition for that day. It doesn’t have to be as hard as people make it out to be. I recently started reading the book Atomic Habits by James Clear and it has taught me so much about creating balance and good habits. Let’s make this New Year amazing by setting yourself up for success.
